Located at 392 Havelock Rd, Singapore 169663, Food Capital is a restaurant that delivers a relaxed dining experience with a strong focus on quality seafood and well-prepared signature dishes. From the moment I arrived, the welcoming atmosphere and family-friendly setting made it feel like a comfortable place for both casual dinners and special gatherings.

One of the first things that stood out on the menu was the impressive selection of Seafood on Ice. Freshly presented and beautifully arranged, it immediately became a highlight of the meal. The Oysters were particularly enjoyable, offering a clean and refreshing taste that seafood lovers will appreciate. Alongside them, the Lobster added a touch of indulgence, with tender meat and satisfying flavor in every bite.

Beyond the seafood selection, Food Capital also offers dishes that appeal to a wide range of diners. The Roast Chicken was a pleasant surprise, cooked to a juicy texture while maintaining a flavorful and well-seasoned skin. It provided a comforting contrast to the chilled seafood options and showcased the variety available on the menu.

Another memorable part of the experience was the Tea service. It complemented the meal nicely and provided a relaxing finish to the dining session. Small details like this help create a more complete and enjoyable restaurant experience, especially during a leisurely dinner with family or friends.

Service at Food Capital was equally noteworthy. The staff provided attentive table service throughout the evening, ensuring that guests felt well taken care of without being interrupted unnecessarily. The restaurant also offers comfortable seating arrangements, making it easy for groups of different sizes to dine together comfortably. For added convenience, debit cards are accepted, making payment smooth and hassle-free.

“ At noon lunch, there was a queue at the entrance but cleared fast. Service was good. There're 8 food stations and 5 of them had chef there to serve the customer. Western Food station served Beef Tenderloin, Gammon Ham, Roast Turkey, small Pie and Soup. Taste Good. Chinese Food Station served fried Shredded Beef, Turkey cooked in Chinese Style, Braised Pork Knuckle, Fried HongKong Noodle, Deep Fried Pork Dumpling and Pork Rib Soup. All taste Good. Indian Station served Plain Naan, Biryani Rice, Del Makhami, Malasa Vegetable and Aloo Gobi. Good chance to tried out other race food. Seafood on Ice Station had a spread of Chilean Scallop, Flower Clam, Black Mussel and Green Lips Mussel. Taste fresh! Japanese Station served many types of Sashimi and a Chef to served customer with live Salmon, Tuna and Octopus meat. Also there was a on the spot fried Tempura. Over Dessert Station, there is a Chief preparing Waffer for customer. Can have two types of ice-cream topping. Many cakes and pie to choose. Free flow of many types of coffee. Also there're hot Soya Bean Drink and Chocolate Drink in the machine. The food taste average but had wide choices. Worth the $72 pay for the buffet lunch. ”

“ With as many as 18 food stations, the only thing to worry is how we can stomach all the scrumptious food at this Sunday brunch buffet. Overall, we really enjoyed the spread. There were more hits than misses. Most of the food were replenished quite promptly except for oysters which they stopped replenishing at about 1pm. The staff very cheerful and they were quick to clear our empty plates and cups too. As the stations are located all over the restaurant, do walk around and all the way to the back. The live grill station is outside at the back and some stations such as the cocktail and pasta stations are kind of hidden too. ”

“ Very efficient service, some staff are friendly. The Christmas buffet has a great variety of food, ham, beef, salmon are big portions. Japanese selection like the prawn tempura is amazing. The Indian food is outstanding. The laksa is rich. The prawns and oysters (maybe a bit salty) but they are fresh, I eat quite a lot. The Christmas log cakes and fondue makes this very kids friendly. ”
